Exercise, Emu Oil Capsules and Aching Muscles

So, I got EA Sports Active (EASA) yesterday and tried it out. It’s got tiny writing that is hard to read but I managed it (seriously need an eye test…) So I set it up put my character in pink, wearing sunglasses and on the second most chubby setting (couldn’t bring myself to do the chubbiest.) The hair styles are rubbish by the way…

I then started the work out and it asked me if I wanted Low, Medium or High intensity for my work out. I chose medium.

25 minutes later with 176 calories burned and a very sweaty Jet I was done. I worked really hard, got it all done and even did the jogging (although it spent a lot of the time telling me I was going too slow….)

Now, it is the morning after and my legs ache like hell, I was late for work but couldn’t physically walk any faster to work. That’ll be the squats, my thigh muscles struggle pushing my weight up and down hehe.

Right I’ve been taking Emu Oil capsules from:

They are like fish oil capsules but have more concentrated Essential Fatty Acids in them plus omega 9 along with omegas 3 and 6. Plus they are tasteless. Unlike fish oil capsules which you find yourself burping up later in the day. Bleh. So I figured I’d take them for my joint and my hair and I think I’m seeing a difference. My skin is clearer, hair fucking shiny as anything and my wrist is hurting less. Also apparently they are good for metabolism so hopefully they are making a difference there too!IMG_6566

Proper exercise

So, I’ve been wondering why walking isn’t helping me to lose weight. Well, today I did:

The hour of walking to and from work as normal.

15 mins of Hatha Yoga – more stretching than anything.

2x 10 reps of crunches (fucking ow)

10 seconds of plank (seriously, more ow)

10 lunges

10 squats

Okay may not seem like much but from the Hatha yoga down I did all together about 30mins of exercise.

After I was out of breath, my heart rate was up and I hurt. Fuck, I’ve been doing all this wrong. Must do more plank and what not in the future. Bring on the weight loss.
