Okay so new outfit, in theory it looks amazing and the beautiful Ted Baker belt fits. However you will notice that my chest and hips are so much wider than my waist. In fact I have quite a skinny waist for someone of my size. Once i’ve lost weight I’ll be the perfect hourglass figure I hopes.
So the critique: beautiful items totally designed for a size eight. No worries, love the belt but side and tummy fat seems to over hang as well as making me look totally out of proportion. Skirt makes me look like I’m wearing a busstle, but then most dressed and skirts do. Leggings are beautiful, ring is great, top is alright not as nice as I’d thought it would be.
As you can see – Small waist, wide hips, wide chest (yet I’m only a B cup, srsly!)
Now the more flattering angle, it pains me to put the other pic first because this picture is awesome. I am the queen of flattering angles (it’s an obsession, I’m a photographer and someone who loves taking photos of herself but get someone with a camera trying to take a photo of me on a night out and I cringe. Although I let them do it because it then gives me free reign to go around snapping photos of them.)
Anyway, the outfit looks good here so could I wear it on a night out, maybe with a light jacket, undone so it covers my arse (busstle) but shows off that kick arse belt.
The Look
Full yellow skirt – longer length from Asos.com
Double layer top from Asos.com
Ted Baker corset belt from Asos.com (I’d like to point out that it was £16 reduced from £60.)
Ring from Asos.com
Ruched leggings from Asos.com
Yellow Kurt Geiger pumps found on ebay for pennies! (Although may swap these for ridiculous high heeled platforms from Topshop to elongate myself and make me look taller than I am wide!)
Leopard scarf from Norwich Market.
I think maybe lose a stone and this will look better, get my waist a bit more toned so I don’t look weird. Probably the most successful whole outfit shop I’ve ever done online. Go me. Things are looking up.
